Review of PF Chang's - Some dishes not suitable for Chinese palate
PF Chang's reviews have been polarized as it is an American Chinese restaurant and some dishes may not be suitable for the Chinese palate. I went to try it out and provide a review for everyone.
We ordered five dishes and one dessert for two people:
✨Chicken Lettuce Wrap
Rating: ★★★★
It was delicious and lived up to its specialty!
✨Mongolian Beef
Rating: ★★★★★
It's stir-fried beef! Don't let the name fool you. It was incredibly tender and fragrant.
✨Honey Chicken
Rating: ★
We originally wanted to order Sweet and Sour Shrimp, but it wasn't available and the staff recommended Honey Chicken. It tasted like General Tso's Chicken. Those who do not enjoy American Chinese food may want to avoid this dish.
✨Sushi Dynamite Roll
Rating: ★
It's similar to tempura shrimp sushi, but with American sauce poured on top, which made it taste odd.
😋 Dessert
✨Great Wall of Chocolate
Rating: ★★★★
The chocolate cake was gigantic, with six layers of rich chocolate, unfortunately, we couldn't finish it.
Our total bill for two was $93.50. Overall, PF Chang's was not as bad as rumored, and some dishes were suitable for Chinese taste buds. It's worth trying out different dishes.
